Venzke, Albert
A celebration of life for Albert Venzke, 99, of Iowa City, will be held Monday, Aug. 8, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Iowa City. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Albert Venzke died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at the Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Branch.
Survivors include his daughter, Alyce (Ahmad) Toloui of Iowa City; a son, Donald (Lois) Venzke of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
