Varner, Connie Lou
Connie Lou Varner, 72, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Curt Moermond. Visitation: one hour before the service.
Survivors include her daughters, Pam (Brian) Ketelsen and Brenda Moen; sons, Kevin (Sue) Varner, Steve (Marilyn) Varner and Glenn (Kristin) Varner; brother, Terry (Annette) Sullivan; son-in-law, Joe Kuba; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Connie was born April 14, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Glen Zerbee and Lavina Sullivan. She was married to Glenn D. Varner Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn Varner Sr.; daughter, Debbie Kuba; and infant son, Darrell Varner.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
