VanDyke, Patricia (Dubler)
Patricia (Dubler) VanDyke, 70, of 151 Broadmoor Lane, Iowa City, died Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Mercy, Iowa City, under the care of hospice, following a long illness. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. Burial will take place in Piketon, Ohio, at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made in Patricia's memory to Christ the King Lutheran Church, Iowa City.

Patricia A. Haas was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Dubuque, Iowa. She married Jay VanDyke at EUB United Methodist Church in Coralville, on May 9, 1991. Patricia's life was dedicated to raising her special son, Mark Dubler, and working at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from 1970 to 2000.
Patricia's family includes her husband, Jay; son, Mark; daughter-in-law, Renee Dubler; and grandchildren, Aaron and Anna all of Butler, Ohio.
Through her marriage to Jay, Patricia's other relatives include, Greg and Julie and their children in Winterset; Michael and Rhonda and their children in Bettendorf; and Jerry and Mary and their child in Louisville, Ky.
She is also survived by her siblings, Samuel Haas Jr. (Judy) of Denton, Texas, Frederick Haas (Donna) of Alpharetta, Ga., Julie Haas Saffar (Manny Saffar) of Chicago, and Fran Haas (Cheryl) of Hawthorne Woods, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Katherine Haas; and sister, Karen VanDamme.
