The family of Van Denman announces with deep sorrow the passing of Van on December 7, 2025, at 84 years old.
Van is survived by his son Chris (Alecia) Denman, and four grandchildren, Hannah & Paige Denman, Grace Meyers, and Lennon Roberts. He is welcomed into the afterlife by his late wife, Linda Denman, and daughter Kendra Denman.
Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1941, Van grew up with unrivaled ambition and hard work.
Throughout his career, Van drove a grain truck, worked as a farm hand, door-to-door salesman, welder
and traveled the Midwest working before entering his tenure as a millwright at Newall Machinery, where he retired from in 2002.
He met and married Linda (Schumacher) Denman in 1968, and lovingly raised his family as a devoted husband and father. Van is best remembered enjoying his days staying active, always up for an adventure or a new tractor to fix.
A memorial service will be held at St. Ludmila Parish on December 22, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Notre Dame room at the community center. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
