Valerie Ann St. John (Val) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after battling a multitude of serious medical conditions. Val was born on August 15, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was an exceptional cook and baker, especially her “concoctions,” pie crusts, and cookies. She loved growing flowers and birdwatching on the front porch. She is survived by her mother, sister, brother, son, grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. Those that knew her well, know she is creating a ruckus in heaven. Val will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
