Vada M. Wille, 95, of Brooklyn, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at Brooklyn Community Estates.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at St. James Lutheran Church in Victor. A private family interment with military rites will be conducted at St. John's Cemetery near Victor. Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home in Victor beginning at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Wille family will be present at the funeral home from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
Should friends desire, memorials may be directed to the Victor American Legion Auxiliary, Lutheran Hour or Lutheran Heritage Foundation and sent in care of Smith Funeral Home in Victor.
She is survived by her daughter, Vadarae Gohlke of Littlefield, Texas; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Wille DeNeve of rural Victor; four granddaughters; nine great- grandchildren; one sister, Laura Bell Betz of Grapeland, Texas; and one sister-in-law, Dolores Wille of Williamsburg.
Vada was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; her son, Willard; and three sisters, Ruth Lamer, Wanda Blake and Lois Rostenbach.
