V. Irene Steuart, 89, formerly of Belle Plaine, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at Cedar Valley Hospice,
Waterloo. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 11, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, with Pastors Kate West and Terry Plocher presiding. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. Visitation and luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to service time Saturday at the church.
Irene is survived by daughters, Kathy (Robert) Hesse of Hampton, Cindy Steuart of Reinbeck, Susan (Brian) Cook of Decorah and Lori Steuart of Belle Plaine; son, David (Julie) Steuart of Reinbeck; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Hrabak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
