Ulferts, Rick William
Rick William Ulferts, 43, of Anamosa, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011 in his home. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. The Rev. LaVerne Beener will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Anamosa.

Surviving include his parents; his wife, Teresa; four children, Ricky (Alicia) Ulferts of Cedar Rapids, Brittany Tidvall (Joshua Fall) of Anamosa, and Ryan and Cayden Ulferts, both of Anamosa; two sisters, Becky (Gary) Jaworski of Menomonie, Wis., and Debbie Edgerly of Cedar Rapids; and three brothers, Danny of Monticello, Corey of Cedar Rapids and Tim (Jennifer) of Cedar Rapids.
Rick William Ulferts was born July 17, 1968, in Anamosa, Iowa, he was the son of Lavern and June Topping Ulferts of Anamosa. He graduated from Anamosa High School. On May 18, 1996, Rick and Teresa Hoffman were united in marriage in Anamosa, Iowa. Rick worked as a CNC machinist for Benett Machine & Fabricating Inc. in Anamosa for the past 16 years. Rick enjoyed working with his kids on there cars, helping others and was known as a jack of all trades. But the thing he treasured most was the time he was given to spend with his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
