Tzortzoudakis, Jeanne M. (Poss-Krushenski)
Jeanne M. (Poss-Krushenski) Tzortzoudakis, 80, of Aurora, Ill., passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Aurora Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born July 31, 1931, in Aurora, Ill. Jeanne was an accomplished violinist and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a member of Annunciation Church.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Tony Tzortzoudakis of Aurora; three children, Alan Krushenski and Jodi (Trent) Krushenski-Lange of Aurora, Ill., and Dave Krushenski of Mesa, Ariz.; two stepchildren, John (Xenia) Tzortzoudakis of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mary (Larry) Paxton of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; her son-in-law, John Choleva of Ohio; her siblings, Joan (Gene) Michaels of Montgomery, Ill., Rich Poss of Aurora, Shirlee (Gene) Hamling of Aurora and Larry (Frankie) Poss of Montgomery.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pam Choleva; her parents, Chris and Agnes (Grommes) Poss; and two brothers, Chris Poss Jr. and Jim Poss.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 16, from The Daleiden Mortuary at 9:30 a.m. to Annunciation Church in Aurora at 10 a.m. Father Patrick Gillmeyer, O.S.B., and Father Dan Peters will officiate, with interment in Marywood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with the rosary being recited at 7 p.m. by Deacon Harold Poss, at The Daleiden Mortuary, 220 North Lake St., Aurora, IL 60506, (630) 631-5500.
