Twiselton, Eleanor Marie
Eleanor Marie Twiselton, 79, a current resident of the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown and formerly of Toledo, passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Toledo. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her children, Susan (Richard) Ferry of Boone, Michael (Betty) Twiselton-Brown of Cocoa, Fla., Patsy (Mark) Sholes of Marshalltown, Dixie (Scott) Newberg of Troutdale, Ore., Melody (John) Ryan of Tama, Nancy Twiselton of Marshalltown and Angela (Mike Carmody) Klinefelter of Tama; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Larry Young of Bigfork, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
