Tschopp, Alfred J.
Alfred J. Tschopp, Pastor EM, 82, of West Point, Neb., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner, Neb. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in West Point, Neb. Interment will be in Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, Neb., and will continue on Friday one hour before service time at the church.
Survivors include daughter, Diana Barry of Yuba City, Calif., and children, Melissa Nascinento and husband Tommy and children of Yuba City, and Christine Cahill of Yuba City; daughter, Patricia King of Cedar Rapids; son, Timothy Tschopp and wife Betty of Northridge, Calif.; daughter, Patricia Clark and husband William of Matteson, Ill.; and daughters, Jennifer and Roberta Clark; brothers, Oscar Tschopp of Sierra Madre, Calif., and Paul Tschopp of Seymour, Conn.
Pastor Tschopp was preceded in death by his parents; first spouse, Kathryn; second spouse, Leah on May 3, 1999; brothers, Theodore, Herbert and Erwin Tschopp; sister, Ruth Tschopp; and son-in-law, Harry King.
