Tschiggfrie, Helen B.
Helen B. Tschiggfrie, 79, of 2885 Shiras Ave., Dubuque, died at 6:10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque, from natural causes. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Parish, Sacred Heart Church, with burial in Linwood Cemetery, all in Dubuque. To celebrate Helen's life, friends may visit from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Helen was born Jan. 28, 1932, in North Buena Vista, Iowa, daughter of Joseph and Cecelia (Wolter) Schmidt.
Survivors include her husband; and nine children, including Michael (Shirlee) Tschiggfrie and Sheri (Rick) Porazil.
A Helen B. Tschiggfrie Memorial Fund has been established.
