Trumper, Reva M.
Reva M. Trumper, 88, of Marion, died May 5, 2010, at English Valley Care Center, North English, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8, at Marion Christian Church. The Rev. Brice Hughes will officiate. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. Interment will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Alfred; daughters, Beverly Draves of Marion and Barbara Allen and husband Duane of North English; grandchildren, David Draves of Marion, Chad (Shelly) Allen of North English and Shawn (Jennifer) Allen of Williamsburg; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a goddaughter, Joanne Wegner and husband Dennis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ronnie Trumper; son-in-law, Ron Draves; grandson, Marcus Draves; and siblings, Marietta, Dorothy, Charlotte, Ramona, Charles and George.
Reva Marie Trumper was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Seymour, Iowa the daughter of Charlie and Marie (Trimble) Seals. She married Alfred Trumper on Dec. 26, 1936, in Unionville, Mo. She worked for many years at Wilson's Meat Packing. She was a member of Marion Christian Church. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends, and reading.
She will be greatly missed.
