Trudie Ashley, 67, passed away after a short illness on April 2, 2014.
She is survived by her son, Robert Edleman; her sisters, Linda Hauser and Ashley Dimario; her brother, Terry "Skillet" Ashley; and numerous family and friends.
She was a caregiver for the last 20 years of her life.
She will be loved and missed by all who knew her as a sister and friend.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be sent to the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, 315 18th Ave., Hiawatha, IA 52233.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday, April 9, at Gilligan's, 912 First Ave. NW, from 3 to 7 p.m.
