Trosky, Linda S.
Linda S. Trosky, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Per Linda's wishes, she has been cremated. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids by the Rev. Chris Podhajsky. A visitation will begin at the church starting at 11 a.m.
Linda was born Feb. 22, 1944, Petersburg, Iowa, to Aloysisus and Dorothy (Klostermann) Olberding. She worked many years in the medical field including Mercy Medical Center, General Surgeons and Oncology Associates. She was active with the St. Wenceslaus Church.
Linda is survived by two brothers, Robert (Carolyn) and Larry (JoAnn) Olberding, both of Dyersville; sisters, Lois (Merlin) Kramer of Dubuque, JoAnn (Chuck) Olson of Dubuque, Elaine (Mark) Miller of Norway, Iowa, Marian (Mark) Hayes of Mendota Heights, Minn. and LuAnn (Jim) Most of Wildwood, Mo.; a sister-in-law, Joyce Olberding of Dyersville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron.
A memorial fund in Linda's honor has been established.
