Treva Kay Middlekauff was born February 15, 1940, near North English, Iowa. The daughter of Raymond and Dorothy (Snare) Cobb. She attended school in Kinross, later graduating from North English High School. Treva was united in marriage to Marvin Middlekauff on February 26, 1961 at the Kinross Christian Church. They have lived in Cedar Rapids all their married life. Treva had worked at Paris Academy as a beautician and later at Collins Radio. She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking pies, shopping at thrift stores and garage sales and reading. Treva died Thursday, April 24, 2025, at her home at the age of 85 years.
She is survived by her husband Marvin; three daughters, Kim Middlekauff, Tamara Middlekauff and Debra Martin all of Cedar Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Jason Middlekauff, Jessica Licup, Jennifer Licup and Jacob Wegner; a great grandchild, Javen Middlekauff; five siblings, Tressa her twin(Jim) Slaubaugh of Williamsburg, Golda (Josh) Bringman of Kinross, John (Susan) Cobb of Cooper, TX, Ruth Trier of Brighton and Kathy (Steve) Stoner of Kinross and a sister-in-law, Mary Cobb Haslet, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Milo Cobb, sister-in-law Diane Cobb and a brother-in-law Richard Trier.
