TRENT EADIE
Cedar Rapids
Trent John Eadie, 45, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2017. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, at Hope Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids, with one hour visitation prior to the service. Burial: Shueyville Cemetery, Shueyville.
Trent was born March 5, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, son of John and JoAnn Eadie. We knew from an early age he was very talented and gifted and that was shown throughout his life. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1989 and served in the United States Marine Corps. On Oct. 23, 1999, Trent married the love of his life, Teresa Webster. To this union, a daughter, Sarah, was born.
He was a wonderful father, husband, son and brother.
Trent was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed playing his synthesizer and guitar, composing original music and taking rides on his motorcycle. He was passionate about the Marines, and displayed this proudly in what he wore and how he lived his life. Growing up, Trent enjoyed snow and water skiing and spent many weekends camping on the Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Sarah; parents, John and JoAnn of Shueyville; brother, Todd (Alyson) of Solon; nieces, Morgan and Makenna; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
