TRAVIS DWIGHT JAMIESON
Monticello
Travis Dwight Jamieson, 44, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2022, of a short illness surrounded by friends and family at Jones Regional Hospital. His body was cremated. Per his wishes, no services will be held at this time.
He was born on Aug. 19, 1977, in Iowa Falls, Iowa, to Paul and Luanus (Greenwood) Jamieson. He was self- employed and previously worked at L.L. Pelling Co. for 14-plus years.
He is survived by his mother, Luanus Jamieson of Monticello; sister, Jody Jamieson of Monticello; niece, Madeline Gudenkauf (Cameron Lange) of Monticello; nephews, Gavin and Kalvin Streets of Monticello; grandnephew, Daxton Lange of Monticello; aunts, Mary Classen of Monticello, Lynne (John) Richter of Earlville, Lana (Roy) White of Arlington and Lucinda Jamieson of Clinton; and uncle, Mark Greenwood of Monticello.
Preceding him in death was his father, Paul Jamieson; sister, Jennifer Madeline Jamieson; grandparents, Dwight and Jane (Strang) Greenwood and Louis and Madeline (Koppes) Jamieson; aunt, Cheryl (Greenwood) Marcov; and cousins, Eddie Hemmer, Angel Herman and Cryus Shoup.
Travis had many close family members and friends he considered family surviving his as well, Ryan (Ach), Bob, Gus, Tina, Keegan, Jesse, Chad and Jason. These people know who they are and how special they were to him. Through ups and downs, thick and thin together forever.
