Traci Lynn Lazenby (Comried), born on December 30, 1970, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Arizona after a 3-year battle with valley fever. She was a beautiful and loving wife and mother, known for her caring and loving nature. Traci worked as a stay-at-home mom and caregiver, along with other various roles throughout her life showing her resilience and commitment to providing for her family.

Traci’s love for singing and music was evident to all who knew her. Her joyous spirit could be felt whether she was singing in the car, in the kitchen, or during a lively session of karaoke with her favorite people. She also enjoyed cooking and swimming, activities that allowed her to relax and share joyous moments with her family. In the last few years, Traci cherished moments spent with her grandson, Durbee.

Traci is survived by her parents, Malcolm and Roberta Meader; son Austin Filling (Leah); son Andrew Filling (Angel); son Alex Filling (Stephanie); and grandchildren, James, Jocelynn, Jenna and Durbee. She was preceded in death by her brother, Brad Comried, and her grandparents, along with several aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 21, from 11 am to 3 pm at Wakema Park Lodge in Center Point, Iowa. Friends, family, and those whose lives were touched by Traci are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life.
