TRACI LYNN HOP BOZORGZADEH Marion Traci Lynn Hop Bozorgzadeh, 48, of Marion, died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, after a courageous 2 1/2-year battle with osteo-sarcoma. In honor of Traci's love for the Hawkeyes, her last tailgate will be Saturday, Sept. 26. Pregame will begin at 1 p.m. and will end when the Hawkeyes leave the field. Her last tailgate will be held in the parking lot at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. The thought of flowers is appreciated, but in Traci's honor, please direct memorials for sarcoma research to the University of Iowa Foundation. Traci was born Dec. 16, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Bruce and Maralee (Stusak) Hop. She graduated in 1985 from Prairie High School, where she was a cheerleader. She went on to graduate from the University of Iowa in 1991, with a degree in communications. She was an avid Hawkeye and Green Bay Packers fan. She worked at J.M. Swank in North Liberty. Traci married the love of her life, Amir Bozorgzadeh, on March 21, 2015. She will be remembered as a fun-loving and spirited person, with a beautiful smile that would light up a room. Traci is survived by her husband, Amir of Marion; her mother, Maralee Minshall of Fairfax; her father, Bruce (Cheryl) Hop of Cedar Rapids; her sister, Trisha Hop (Kelli Alberts) of North Liberty; two brothers, Trent Minshall (Terri Ballard) of Fairfax and Travis (Nikki) Minshall of Cedar Rapids; two stepbrothers, Adam Brewer and Zach Brewer; stepsister, Katie Brewer; stepson, Kaleb Bozorgzadeh; stepdaughter, Hannah Bozorgzadeh; and her nieces, Skylar Hop, Alex and Kennedy Minshall and Brooklyn and Quinn Minshall. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bo and Jessie Stusak and Harvey and Miriam Hop; and her "father," David Minshall.
