Tracey S. Reade, 55, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha with his loving family by his side.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. The family asks that you come dressed in your favorite sports jersey or racing shirt. Visitation will be on Monday, April 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the chapel stateroom. Burial will follow the funeral at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Tracey was born July 28, 1961, to Charles and Pearl Reade in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Metro High School in Cedar Rapids. On May 9, 1998, he was united in marriage to Luci Bruce.
Tracey was an avid Green Bay Packers football and racing fan. He also loved to spend time in the outdoors, camping with family and friends.
Tracey is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Luci; his brother, Graydon Reade; sister-in-law, Mary Reade; mother-in-law, Virginia (Ted) Hootman;
sisters-in-law, Dawn (Michael) Frederick, Amber (Tony) Hill, Jodi (Craig) Ivester and Tamera (Brian) Ballard; brother-in-law, Mike (Christy Starr) Hootman; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and his fur baby, Maddie.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Terry and DuWayne Reade.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
