Tracey Lynne Kent, 59, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Private family burial will be at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Tracey is survived by her husband, Bernard; children, Travis (Melissa) Otto of Fairfax, Debra (Christopher) Dean of Cedar Rapids and Karen (Dan) Arnold of Walker; brother, Todd (Jenni) Otto of Urbana; sister, Terry (Bruce) Ballard of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Joshua, Olivia, Carson, Abigail, Nikalus, Natalee, George and Jack; brother-in-law, Jeff (Penny) Kent; mother-in-law, Ruth Kent; and sister-in-law, Debbie (Greg) Ostrowski.
She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Michael Kent; parents, Beverly and Robert Otto; father-in-law, Melvin Kent; and brother-in-law, James Kent.
Tracey loved spending time with family and friends, especially her eight grandchildren. She enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers, her favorite NFL team.
