Tope, Lucille
Lucille Tope, 89, of West Union, died Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center from complications of a stroke. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, United Methodist Church, where visitation will be one hour before service time. Burial: West Union Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Roger (Margaret) Tope of Marion and Ronald (Janice) Tope of Montezuma; a daughter, Barbara Earle of Grundy Center; two brothers, Dale Popenhagen of Oelwein and Duane Popenhagen of Brooklyn; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was prececeded in death by her husband, Harold in 2000; and her parents.
