Tony Ray Ricklefs, 54, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, at his home. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2022, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Tony was born July 19, 1968, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Raymond Ricklefs and LaAnna White. He graduated from Monticello High School and worked in construction for 30 years. Twenty-nine years ago, Tony met the love of his life, Sandy Osborn, and they had been together ever since. Tony was a hard-working outdoorsman who lived life to the fullest. He was an active father who enjoyed coaching his girls while they were growing up. Tony most recently loved the time he spent with his grandson, Marshall, and teaching him how to drive the tractor. He enjoyed boating, helping others, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Osborn; daughters, Amber Osborn and Raechel Ricklefs (Seth); grandson, Marshall Willits; parents, Raymond Ricklefs and LaAnna White (Roy); sister, Tina Hankemeier; and nieces, Mariah, Marissa and Madison Hankemeier.
