Toni Leigh Anderson, born February 8, 1968, passed away after a brief illness on December 13, 2025, blessed with her mother’s final hug.

Toni was the beloved daughter of Susan and Paul Brauer and a cherished sister to her many brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her father, Rudy Reed, whom she loved deeply, and her sister, Kelli O’Shea.

Toni is survived by her parents Susan and Paul Brauer, her brother David Brauer (Alicia) and her sisters Emily, Kathy and Kari Schluter

Though Toni did not have children of her own, she was a mother in every way that mattered. She considered her nieces and nephews her children in her own way and loved them fiercely.

Toni had a heart of gold—kind, generous, and endlessly compassionate. She found joy in repurposing furniture, redecorating her home, spending time with friends and family, and lovingly caring for her animals far beyond what the average person might do. The elderly were her “little people,” and the loving connections she formed with them will never be forgotten in their hearts.

Her personality and laughter will forever live on in the memories of those who knew her for one day or for a lifetime . To know Toni was to love her, and she touched every life she came into contact with. Please come prepared with all of your funny Toni stories—every one of them.

Toni will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 17, at 11:30 a.m. at the Thomas Park Safe Room, 343 Marion Blvd., Marion, Iowa. Lunch will be provided following the service. The celebration will be officiated by Pastor John Mosinski, who will help us remember that Toni Leigh was a child of God and lift her spirit as she joins the friends and family who welcome her with loving arms.
