Todd William Evans, 47, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed unexpectedly Friday, May 12, 2023.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. Celebration of Life will follow from noon to 3 p.m. at 1 Holiday Lodge Rd., North Liberty, Iowa.
Todd was a man of many words and actions. He enjoyed hanging out with his family, friends and his grandchildren. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends, family or someone he just met. Todd was full of stories, whether they were true or full of baloney. If you needed to talk he was always there. He opened his home and kitchen and adored cooking. Todd would cook and grill for an army, making sure that everyone was well fed.
Todd is survived by the many kids that call him dad, Hali, Kendra (Ryan), Austin, Brandon, Jacob, Destiny (Austin), Caleb, Anna, Elijah, Gage and Garret; his grandchildren, Emberly, Hudson, William and soon-to-be twins; his sister, Tammy (Jeremy); his nephew and niece, Mason and Nora; and his girlfriend, Sarah.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
