Timothy Warren Trimble, 68, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2022, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. A graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, with a Celebration of Life immediately following.
Tim was born on Oct. 1, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Gerald and Marcella (Nies) Trimble. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids. Tim worked as an inspector for Rockwell Collins until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.
Survivors include his son, Shane Trimble (Tina Blackford) of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Brennen, Westin, Kiptin and Tenley Trimble; siblings, Todd (Tina) Trimble, Gary (Elaine) McCune, all of Cedar Rapids, Gale Steiger of Massachusetts, Glenn (Caryla) McCune of Ushers Ferry, Iowa, and Rusty (Cheryl) McCune of Prairie du Chien, Wis.; sister-in-law, Theresa Trimble of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Marcella Trimble; brothers, Gerald R. Trimble and David Trimble; and sister, Peggy Tebbe.
