Timothy Ray Teel II, 6 days old, passed away in his parents' arms on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital. A funeral service celebrating Timothy's precious life will be 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with Dr. Jim Coyle officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
Survivors include his parents, Hillary and Timothy; paternal grandmother, Althena Teel of Cedar Rapids; maternal grandmother, Lisa (Augustine) Perez of Cedar Rapids; maternal grandfather, Scott (Kim) Fillenworth of Marengo; uncles, Jeremy (Amber) Teel of West Monroe, La., Jeremy (Jessie) Hartman of Dysart and Trenton Folkmann of Marengo; and aunts, Andrea (Bryan) Zaspal of Vinton, Marita Perez of Cedar Rapids and Mariah Fillenworth of Marengo. Also surviving are many great-grandparents, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Gary Fillenworth; paternal great- grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Teel; maternal aunt, Melissa Fillenworth; and paternal aunts, Barbara Carey and Mary Ash.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
