Timothy "T.J." Evans, 47,
of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood, Cedar Rapids. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
T.J. was born July 19, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Phillip and Pamela (Strellner) Evans. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1989. T.J. worked for the city of Cedar Rapids in maintenance for 20 years, and most recently for Hupp Electric as a delivery driver, G&K Lawn Service and 3 Brothers Garage in Cedar Rapids. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. T.J. was compassionate and loving toward his friends and family.
T.J. is survived by his children, Tyler Evans (Bree) and Molly Evans, both of Cedar Rapids; parents, Phill and Pam Evans of Cedar Rapids; sister, Tammy Evans (Kipp) of Marion; nephew and niece, Seth and Tori; brothers for life, Jeff and Jeremy; little sister, Val; dog, Dozer; and extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
