On Saturday, May 12, 2018, Timothy Michael Polk, beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend to all, passed away suddenly at the age of 59.
Tim will be forever cherished by his wife of 36 years, Debra; their precious children, Candice (Walt), Lauren (Trevor) and Trevor (Meghan); and grandchildren, Gabrielle, Enoch, Adeline, Solomon, Charlotte, Emma and Declan.
His passion for Jesus marked everyone he interacted with during his years pastoring at River of Life and beyond. He will be remembered for his voice, laughter, and compassion in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life and reception will be held at
5 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at River Of Life Church, 3801 Blairs Ferry Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids. Tim's legacy, and his invitation to you, is to boldly love the people in your life, just as Jesus loves us.
The family requests no flowers be sent, but donations made in Tim's memorial.
