TIMOTHY JOSIFEK

Timothy James Josifek, 40, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, following a short illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Hills Community Church by the Rev. Kent Landhuis. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Tim is survived by his parents, Wayne and Nancy of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Anthony (Shay); and a niece, Sydney Josifek of Glendale, Ariz.; his grandmother, Helen Josifek of Cedar Rapids; grandfather, James (Dorothy) Owen of Hendersonville, N.C.; grandmother, Sara Owen of Davenport; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Josifek; and his aunt, Ann (Owen) Updegraff.
Tim was born April 16, 1974, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Wayne Charles and Nancy Ellen (Owen) Josifek. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1993 and Kirkwood Community College. He was the expeditor at Reliable Machine & Manufacturing Co.
