Timothy Edward Camp, 66, of Marion, Iowa, passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, of pancreatic cancer at his home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Tim was born on April 12, 1956, to Edward and Lillian (Heintz) Camp in Chicago, Ill. He retired as a police sergeant with Cedar Rapids Police Department after 28 years of service. After retirement, he worked part-time at True Value and drove a school bus for the Cedar Rapids School District. Tim was united in marriage to Janalyn Marie Kahle on June 21, 1996, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Jan Camp of Marion, Iowa; son, AJ (Katie) Novak of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; daughters, Kahle (Brian) Ripes of Chicago, Ill., and Sarah (Shawn Keller) Camp of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren, Abigail Keller, Sadie Novak and Owen Keller; sister, Patricia (the late Tom) Robillard of Mount Prospect, Ill.; brother, Andrew (Lisa Marie) Camp of Lombard, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
