Hiawatha
Timothy C. Kephart, 69, of Hiawatha, passed away on May 12, 2022. He was born on May 20, 1952, in Iowa City, Iowa. He graduated from Alburnett High School in 1971. On May 11, 1974, he married Corinne Herron, the love of his life. As they joined hearts to create a loving home they added to this their beloved daughter, Amanda Marie to whom he was devoted. Tim worked at Nissen Trampoline Universal Gym for 22 years as an electroplater. He then moved to Mestek Machinery as an industrial electrician for 25 years. Tim enjoyed amateur radio and held a license NOOBB. He also loved to restore antique radios, and tinkering on cars. He enjoyed reading biographies and always had a Sherlock Holmes Novel going. Tim's outgoing and friendly disposition lent him to make many friends. We will all cherish the memory of his loving-kindness that graced our lives.
Left to mourn him is his wife, Corinne, of 48 years; his daughter, Amanda (Jeff) Minnaert; his sister-in-law, Cheryl Fish; brother-in-law, Mike (Betty) Herron; niece, Jenni (Jeff) Pledger; nephews, Zach Herron, Joshua Mandle, Dakota Sisco, Mason Herron and Linkin Herron; and sister, Susan (Dennis) Gelo and their family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from noon to
1:30 p.m. Saturday May 21, at the Cedar Memorial Family Center and and Library. A Private Inurnment will take place at Clay Cemetery in Jones County, Iowa. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
