Timothy Wayne Boots, 55, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday afternoon, June 21, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center after battling a long illness. Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service is serving the family.
Tim is survived by two children, Ashley and Jacob Boots; and two grand-children, Evan Wayne Boots and Jersey LarRay Collione. He also is survived by sisters, Kelly, Rachelle and Cindee Lee and Ranea; brother, Jeff; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Tim will be missed by his dog, Mary Jane.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LaVona and Tommy Lee; his brother, Brian Lee; and his infant son, Richard Wayne Boots, who he was reunited with on Father's Day.
Tim was born March 28, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, and was a lifelong resident. He received awards as a football player in junior high school and attended Prairie High School. Tim was employed as a truck driver.
Tim loved his Harleys, children, grandchildren and family.
Donations may be given to Tim's family to help with his funeral expenses.
