Tim J. Patterson, 69, of Cedar Rapids, entered into eternal life on Sept. 3, 2017.
A memorial Mass will be said at St. James Catholic Church, 602 W. Second St., Washington, IA 52353, at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15, with Father Bernie Weir officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. at the church before the Mass.
Following the burial of his cremains at Elm Grove Cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held in Dallmeyer Hall at the fairgrounds, 611 Highway S., Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family or sent via www.amyloidosis.org for research toward a cure for Tim's rare, devastating bone marrow disease.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy, of Cedar Rapids; daughters, Patsy and husband Rick Halleran, and their sons, Caleb and Blake, of Fairfax; and Polly and husband Tim Forinash, and their daughters, Leah and Morgan, of Shueyville; his siblings, Mike (Sandy) Patterson of San Francisco, Calif., and Rob (Nancy) Patterson, Tom Patterson and Vickie Patterson, all of Washington.
