Tim Baker, 30, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at The Legacy Center Murdoch-Linwood, Cedar Rapids.
Tim Baker was born Oct. 22, 1987, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Peggy Baker. He graduated from Prairie High School, Cedar Rapids, in 2006. Tim worked for Squaw Creek Millwork as a delivery driver. His hobbies included remote control cars and airplanes, fishing and sitting around the bonfire with family. Tim loved spending time with his children.
Tim is survived by his mother, Peggy Baker; siblings, Ashleigh Baker (Travonte Batey) of Cedar Rapids and Travis Baker of Cedar Rapids; significant other, Lisa Merry of Cedar Rapids; children, Tristen, London, Luke, Owen and Jade; nephew and niece, Trayden and Myah; grandmother, Joyce Baker of Cedar Rapids; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Al Giza; grandfather, Joe Baker Sr.; cousin, Vikki Baker; and uncle, Paul Kitzki.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
