Tietz, Leonard
Leonard Tietz, 82, of Decorah, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Washington Prairie Lutheran Church, 1725 Washington Prairie Rd., Decorah, with the Rev. Mark Kvale presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at Schluter- Balik Funeral Home in Decorah and also after 10 a.m., at the church on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Leonard to Washington Prairie Lutheran Church, 1725 Washington Prairie Rd., or Winneshiek County Hospice, 901 Montgomery St., Decorah, IA 52101.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Lavonne Tietz, Decorah; two sons, Galen (Melanie) Tietz, Decorah, and Randy (Joyce) Tietz, Cedar Rapids; and four grandchildren, Jordan and Daiton Tietz and Kyle and Alex Tietz.
