Tieskoetter, Alphonse 'Fonse' J.

Alphonse “Fonse” J. Tieskoetter, 87, of Ossian, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at his home, with his family by his side. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 4, from 3 until 8 p.m. and one hour before the celebration of life Wednesday at St. Francis De Sales Church. A celebration of life service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the church, with inurnment at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Anita of Ossian; children, Dorothy Hackman of Chandler Ariz., Terri (Tom) Bushman of Ossian, Dave Tieskoetter of Sun Lakes, Ariz., Steve (Jan) Tieskoetter of Austin, Minn., Marty (Deb) Tieskoetter of Ossian and Randy (Kim) Tieskoetter of Ossian; sister, Agatha Hoffman of Ionia; 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Alphonse was preceded in death by an infant son; two infant daughters; parents, Bernard and Mary; brothers, Joe, Paul, Frank, Louis and Felix; and sisters, Helen Hemesath and Hedwig Hoffman.
