Thordsen, Irene O.
Irene O. Thordsen, 93, of Monmouth, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013, at Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Monticello. A celebration of Irene's life will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, with visitation before the service from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monmouth Cemetery.
Those left to honor Irene's memory include her children, Maureen (John) Childears of Stapleton, Neb., Donna (Roger) Patton of Coggon and Darrell (Lori) Thordsen of Monmouth; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
