THOMAS ZIMMERMAN

Thomas Paul Zimmerman, 61, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. He died in his sleep of natural causes.
Survivors include his six children, Thomas, Michael (Stacey) and Katherine, all of Cedar Rapids, and Martha, Robert and Marcella of Kansas City and three siblings, Carmen (Marvin) Smith of Aurora, Colo., Jeni Zimmerman of Norway and Joe Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids. He also had four grandchildren, Seiarra, Jayden, Kyler and Leilani; and many nieces, nephews and cousins all who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit "Zim" Zimmerman and Martha Kuncl Zimmerman.
Rather than a funeral service for Tom, his children will be planning a memorial service in Cedar Rapids for a future date to be determined.
