Thomas Stonebarger, 79, of Cedar Rapids, passed away March 22, 2016, at his home. Per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services.
Thomas was born Oct. 31, 1936, to Wayne and Blanche Stonebarger. Tom graduated from Lone Tree High School in 1955. He was united in marriage to Mary Kral on Nov. 11, 1956. He was a 1960 Coe College athletic alumnus and obtained a degree in finance. Tom worked for Hon Co. in Muscatine as a credit and export manager for 29 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; a son, Todd Stonebarger (Susan Burger) of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Marilyn Snyder of Wichita, Kan.; and grandchildren, Haley and Colton of Cedar Rapids and Ashley Nelson of Winterset.
Tom was preceded in death by sons, Vince and Shawn; parents; and brothers, Marion, DeWayne, Richard and twin brother Jerry.
