North Liberty
Thomas R. Perry, 63, of North Liberty, Iowa, died Thursday, June 21, 2018. Memorial services will be held on July 9 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with a time to meet with the family at 9:30 a.m. Tom's final resting place will be Ridgewood Cemetery in North Liberty.
Tom was born in Baltimore, Md., on Aug. 10, 1954, to Mervin and Evangeline Perry, and married Diane L. Hudson on April 26, 1975, in North Liberty. Tom served in the Navy, worked at Procter and Gamble and owned The Woodshed flooring company. For many years, Tom was a member of New Covenant Bible Church and most recently was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Tom loved his family and is survived by Diane Perry, his wife of 43 years; six children and their spouses, Jenifer (David) Bartsch, Julie (Daniel) Johnson, Eric (Candace) Perry, Nathan (Elaine) Perry, Karl Perry and Katrina Perry; 19 grandchildren; two brothers; and two sisters.
