Thomas "Pat" Grover, 65, of Sigourney, died Thursday, June 18, 2015.
Pat was born Feb. 13, 1950, in Perry, Iowa, to Albert Edward and Bonnie Rose (Hall) Grover. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1968. Pat lived and farmed in Keokuk County and served in the Army National Guard for seven years. On July 12, 1986, he married Patricia Rieck.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; son, Jamie (Carrie) Grover; three grandchildren, Steven, Nathan and Micheal; two sisters, Nona (Chris) McAlpin and Joy Grover; and sister-in-law, Deb Grover.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Edward and Albert Gladdin.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Oskaloosa with Pastor Mark Doll officiating. Burial: 10 a.m. Saturday at Doggett Cemetery in rural Sigourney. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney, where the family will be present from 5 to 8 p.m. There will also be a service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
