Thomas Lint, 75, of Whittier, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. Family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, Iowa. Burial will take place at a later date. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face
mask and practice social distancing.
Thomas was born on Dec. 5, 1945, the son of Woodrow and Grace (Deerborn) Lint. He graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School and was united in marriage to Tonna Lee Smith. Thomas was employed at Universal and retired from PMX in Cedar Rapids. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, was a great griller and a NASCAR enthusiast. Thomas and Tonna enjoyed traveling. He was a very easy going gentleman and treated everyone as family. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas is survived by his son, Eric of Stafford, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tonna; and sister, Linda.
