Thomas L. Kehl, 83, of Hiawatha, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2022.
No services are planned at this time.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; sons, Jeffrey (Valerie) Kehl and Michael (Chantel) Kehl; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Yvonne (George) Newquist and Joyce (Eddy) Adolph.
Thomas Lee Kehl was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Chicago Heights, Ill., the son of Oscar and Margaret (Blank) Kehl. On June 10, 1961, he married Sylvia Pederson in Seattle, Wash. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving for 21 1/2 years. After retiring from the military, he worked for over 30 years at Rockwell Collins, retiring in 2009. On June 10, 2016, Tom told Sylvia “Thank you for being the one I love!” He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
