THOMAS L. BEADLE

Thomas L. Beadle, 67, of Los Angeles, formerly of Marion, Iowa, died on Oct. 26, 2020, following a long illness. Family graveside services are planned at Cedar Memorial.
Survivors include his brother, Douglas Beadle of Cedar Rapids; sister, Nancy Beadle; and brother-in-law, Jim Probst of Bozeman, Mont.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Tom was born in Cedar Rapids, on June 18, 1953, to Harold and Evelyn (Harman) Beadle. He graduated from Marion High School. Tom was a creative person with a good sense of humor. In his youth, he built contraptions including a backyard catapult and a motorized skateboard. He was also a talented woodworker and worked many years as a self-employed carpenter and antique restorer. He was also a drummer and played with several groups in the Marion area and in California.
Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
