Thomas J. Greve, 62, of Marshalltown, Iowa, formerly of Central City, Iowa, passed away on April 5, 2023, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. A private family burial will be held at Mount Clark Cemetery. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Central City is assisting the family.
Thomas was born on Aug. 19, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Lavern and Betty (Reinhardt) Greve. He worked at JBS meat packing plant in Marshalltown for many years. Thomas loved spending time with his dog Pepper. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Thomas is survived and lovingly remembered by his mother, Betty Greve of Central City; brother, Jerald Greve of Colfax, Iowa; sister, Linda Klein of Central City; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lavern in September of 2021; and brother-in-law, Tracy Klein in January of 2023.
