Thomas Duane Fritz, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at his home.
Memorial services: noon Saturday, Sept. 27, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial: Czech National Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Bonnie Fritz; son, Matthew (Sarah) Fritz; grandson, James; and sisters, Sharon Dunn and Kathy Fritz, all of Cedar Rapids; and many other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Thomas was born July 1, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, son of Raymond and Dorothy (Topinka) Fritz. Tom was a member/officer of Laborers Local Union 43 and was a superintendent at Blahnik Construction, retiring in 2009.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
