Thomas L. Bell, 65, of Mount Vernon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, with his family by his side at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester.
A Celebration of Life potluck will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Bertram Town Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; children, Brian Champeau (Maggie), Chris Bell (Leslie) and Justin Bell (Amber); brother, Ted Bell; sisters, Margaret Gowen Bell and Faye Bell; six grandchildren, Mckenna, Noah (Branda Oakley) Nick, Logan, Leona and Livia; and various aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice; father, Arden; and infant grandson, Caleb.
Thomas retired from The Eastern Iowa Airport after 27 years and worked at CarQuest in his free time.
