Therese C. Beusch, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday at All Saints Catholic Church. The Rev. John R. Flaherty will officiate. Entombment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m. Friday. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; a son, Thomas (Becky) of Kildeer, Ill.; a brother, James Hunt of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a sister, Kathleen (Pete) Petersen of Richardson, Texas. She also is survived by two granddaughters, Katherine (Tyler) Reed of Denver, Colo., and Melinda (Kevin) Gil of Waukesha, Wis.; and five great-grandchildren, Jack, Dylan, Madeline, Megan and Carter.
She was preceded in death by a son, John.
Therese was born Nov. 18, 1928, in Jefferson, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Marie Vogel Hunt. She married Charles J. Beusch on Aug. 14, 1948, in Kirksville, Mo.
Therese was a 50-year member of P.E.O., a faithful member of All Saints Catholic Church for many years, and previously operated Tiny Top Preschool. She enjoyed reading and playing cards, especially bridge. Her greatest joy however was the time spent with her many friends and beloved family. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial donations may be given to All Saints Catholic Church or Camp Courageous.
